Please see below the documents required to obtain a certificate of repatriation, which will allow for the deceased to return to Cameroon from the United Kingdom or the Scandinavian region:<\/p>\n
1. Written request addressed to the High Commissioner<\/p>\n
2. Death certificate.<\/p>\n
3. Affidavits of content.<\/p>\n
4. Cameroonian ID of the Deceased.<\/p>\n
5. Embalming certificate.<\/p>\n
6. Authorisation to take the body out of the UK or the Scandinavian region.<\/p>\n
7. Free from infection certificate.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
NB:<\/strong><\/span> In addition to the above documents, the family will need to obtain a burial permit, and an authorization from the Service of Social and Cultural Affairs of the Central or Littoral Region signed by a Senior Divisional Officer (Le PREFET).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This will allow for the transfer\/entrance of the mortal remains into the region (Douala\/Yaound\u00e9).
