The Cameroonian community is hereby informed that following the recent announcement by the Delegate General for National Security on the new biometric passport application process in Cameroon as well as, in Diplomatic Missions and Consulates – passport applications will now be enrolled and paid online. Useful links are https://www.passcam.cm and https://www.dgsn.cm.
NEW PASSPORT APPLICATION PROCESS
Online Pre-Enrolment

- Applicants must connect to the pre-enrolment site https://www.passcam.cm to complete the pre-enrolment application.
- Pay the passport application fees by credit/debit card -or- Mobile Money.
- Book an appointment for physical enrolment at the High Commission in London.
NB: – Note that an appointment made can only be changed ONCE (01 time) and is valid for a maximum of ten (10) days, after which, the appointment is cancelled. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fully available for the day and time of your chosen physical enrolment appointment.
Please refer all pre-enrolment or online payment issues (including amending appointment date, change of enrolment centre or otherwise) to the DGSN by email: contact@passcam.cm . Specify the problem and attach the below-listed elements:

**The High Commission can only assist where an applicant has fully completed the online process, and uniquely on the day of the physical appointment. **
Physical Enrolment at the High Commission, London

- Only on the day and time of your chosen appointment, and on presentation of a printed pre-enrolment application form (containing a visible barcode and PO number).
- All supporting documents will be cross checked and certified against originals presented.
- Applicants’ personal data (photo, fingerprint & signature) will be collected.
- A passport application receipt will be issued on completion.

Passport Application Decision

- Applicants will receive an email or text notification from the Delegate of National Security on the decision of their passport application and collection thereof.
- Passports are produced by the DGSN within 48 hours in Cameroon.

** Passports will generally be available for collection in London within two (02) weeks from the date of production**

Passport Collection at the High Commission, London

- Applicants will be contacted by text or email provided during the pre-enrolment stage, when their passport is ready for collection in London.
- Passports must be collected on presentation of an original receipt of application and a proof of ID.
- Passports can also be collected by proxy, upon presentation of original receipt and a certified letter of authorisation.
**Passport collection Times: Monday to Wednesday, from 16:00pm to 16:30pm exclusively (service users will not be received outside of this collection hour)
Rejected Passport Application
In case of a rejection, applicants are advised to send all queries to: reject@passcam.cm

- You are invited to specify as the subject of your email: REJECTION.
- Open receipt of the reason for rejection, applicants must send a follow up email requesting that their passport application file be re-opened for their biometrics to be recaptured at their chosen enrolment centre.
Passport Fees
1. The payment of stamp fees for the new biometric passport is payable ONLY to the GDNS, directly on their website (https://www.passcam.cm ) at the time of your pre-enrolment exclusively.
2. The only fees that will be charged at the High Commission are for certification/legalization of supporting documents (set at £20.00 per document).
3. The High commission only accepts payments in cash or by Postal order.
Passport Application Requirements
The validity of Cameroon Passports cannot be extended. Applicants are advised to request a renewal of their passports six (06) months before its expiry.
A. REQUIREMENTS
1. Pre-enrolment application form (proof of payment receipt).
2. Valid consular card or consular card application.
3. Certified copy of birth certificate or birth certificate extract.
4. Previous passport & photocopy of Data page(s).
5. Certified photocopy of residence permits/entry visa or e-visa with share code (UK applicants only).
6. Certified copy of valid Cameroon National ID (CNI) or valid Consular Card.
7. Certified copy of marriage certificate (applicable to married women opting for name change).
8. Proof of profession or social status (e.g. contract of employment, student ID, letter from employer…)
9. Police report or certified declaration of loss/theft (if applicable).
10. Certified parental or legal guardian authorization (applicable to all applicants under the age of majority- 21 years of age). NB: * a certified photocopy of a marriage certificate will counteract the provision of a parental authorization for married minors**.
B. APPLICATION FOR A CHILD’S FIRST PASSPORT

- Pre-enrolment application form (proof of payment receipt).
- Certified transcribed Cameroon Birth Certificate.
- Certified copy of father and/or mother passport(s).
- Certified copy of resident permit/Cameroon national ID or consular card (if applicable).
- Certified parental or legal guardian authorization NB: Parents of Cameroonian children born outside of Cameroon are strongly encouraged to request a transcription of their child’s birth certificate into a Cameroon birth certificate, within three months of their birth.
