University Teachers Recruitment

The Cameroonian community in the United Kingdom is hereby informed that 573 teaching positions have been advertised for recruitment in the country’s eight Public Universities. This corresponds to the third and last phase of the special recruitment of 2000 university lecturers (PhD holders) commenced in 2019.

Interested persons can submit their applications directly to the university of their choice. Alternatively, they may also submit them to the Cameroon High Commission in London.

The application deadline is 17th of January 2022. For details of the calls per university, and composition of the application file, please click here.

PUBLIC NOTICE – NEW VISA RATES EFFECTIVE FROM JANUARY 2023

The General Public is hereby informed that as from Tuesday 03 January 2023 the Consular Service of The High Commission for the Republic of Cameroon to the United Kingdom in London will apply new visa rates. This is in conformity with the Chancellery Exchange Rate and the 2023 Finance Law No2022/020 dated 27 December 2022.
New rates are listed as follows:
– Visas of 0 to 6 months
*Normal service: £160 *Same day service: £205
– Visas for more than 6 months
*Normal service: £205 *Same day service: £275

Teaching Positions at Cameroon Universities

The Cameroonian community in the United Kingdom is hereby informed that teaching positions have been advertised for recruitment in the county’s three new universities as follows:-
University of Bertoua:       45 positions
University of Ebolowa:       45 positions
University of Garoua:          45 positions
Quota for academic regulations 15 positions

Interested persons can submit their applications to the university of their choice or to the Cameroon High Commission in London by May 26 2023.
